PROPERTY MANAGEMENT
Property management can range from locating ancestor's property and identifying property lines to creating such documents as "an affidavit of heirship."
It has become increasingly important for persons who own real property to get it properly documented in county court houses as to property location, who the proper heirs are and taxes paid up-to-date. Recently, County tax assessors have become very aggressive in the disopsal of property with deliquent taxes. After a certain period of unpaid taxes, property can be sold at "tax sales" to the "highest bider" that could result in the sale of the property at a value far less than it's real worth.
